I worked as 1st Ac under Mike O'leary a few weeks back for the band Wye Oak filming their music video "Fish". It wasn't like any other shoot I've ever been on. Real small crew and we were filming shadow puppets against a screen. Its really a cool story about a man who explores the sea. I'll post a final version when it gets cut but here are a couple screen grabs from the shoot.

It was all on the fly and very unpredictable but I had a great time and I worked with a great crew. Chris Bivins wrote and directed the music video and I had Sean Cullen as my B cam operator. Amanda Jones was also there helping out as AD. We shot on 2 canon 7d's.

It was a continuation of videos that I worked on during the summer. It was 2 HPX 170's and we shot a total of 128 rolls. Luckily I was working on a mac system that is still compatible with Duel's express slot adapter. the single card readers Panasonic released this summer just dont turn cards around fast enough on 2 and 3 camera shoots. In my opinion, the best reader on the market for these kinds of shoots is the QIO reader from Sonnet.
